Abstract: | SOAB conducts a feasibility study for the implementation for a mixed-purpose cycling connection between Roermond (NL) and Mönchengladbach (D). The main research question is as follows: What is the best concept for mixed-purpose cycling connections in the Netherlands, Germany or elsewhere that contributes to the local liveability, accessibility, economy and the environment in the respective regions? The question is divided into eleven sub research question, which the report will answer. The research was mainly done by desk research with mainly qualitative and some quantitative data. |
